Georgia is a picturesque country, located in the heart of Caucasus Mountains. It is known for its breathtaking sights, unique winemaking traditions, and one-of-a-kind cuisine. Georgia has a rich history, dating back to the BC, with the first written document created in the 5th century A.D. and an ancient language that is hard to pronounce, since it has not an analogue in the world. Georgians have always known how to enjoy life through their taste buds. For example, some sources claim that Georgia is a cradle of winemaking, with architectural findings indicating Neolithic harvests from over 8,000 years ago.

Georgian dishes follow the lead of nature: seasonal cooking, spices, vegetables. They taste a bit like this, a bit like that, but in the end, like nothing you’ve ever tried before. Garlicky, with walnuts, spices and loads of fresh herbs, Georgian cuisine is slowly becoming trendy among the foodies.
